We want to hear from professionals, business people, professors, athelets, researchers about their life and professional experiences.
With this event, we would like to bridge the gap between generations, bringing the lessons learned and wisdom gained to the ones who would benefit from it the most: the young, the bold, and the un-wise: the students!​
We would like to hear about successful immigration and integration stories and the inevitable cultural shocks that came along.
We would like to understand where we stand, as young adults and students.
We encourage networking and a free flow of professional ideas at these events.
ROMANIAN COMMUNITY ROOTS AND HISTORIC TIES TO CANADA

Timed with each of the four seasons, we prepare traditional Romanian dishes with a personal touch. We wash them down with traditional drinks, but be warned, some of these beverages are not for the weak of heart and of feeble constitution :)
Our ad-hoc cooks tend to overwhelm and conquer you with their dishes and they take out-mastering the other cooks skills quite seriously!
If Romanians love something that is a challenge and eating!
With this event, we get both! And you get to enjoy it all!

ROMANIAN BITES AND SIPS

You might have heard about the red and white of Martisor, or about the fairies of Sanziene, or even about the vârcolaci and strigoi of the night of St. Andrew.
Be that as it may, these are wonderful excuses to meet us, hear about our overly superstitious, loud, vivacious, full-of-ourselves, and many times naive way of thinking and seeing the world!

We are all that and then some!
It's a perfect time to learn about these pre-Christian traditions and discover how pagan elements infiltrated and fused with Christian symbols.
Allow us to impress you, to charm you and (BOO!) scare you!

Our Student Association is the perfect stage for Art, Culture and Literature shows, happenings, and events.
We want to promote local, young, vibrant, plastic artists through Art exhibitions.

We'd like to hear them read their own poetry.

We want to celebrate the Romanian New Wave besides other powerful cinema.
